Derby Recreation Centre
Comprising two single storey buildings and associated sporting facilities, this project was undertaken in a particularly difficult working environment that included tropical storms, torrential rain and geographically difficult accessibility.
Traditional strip footings, steel framed structure, brick veneer, Colorbond walls and metal roof coverings are combined to form a sports hall, administration block, squash, netball and tennis courts and a children’s activity room.
